Jon and I have always talked about our dream farm and that we would grow raspberries. So, of course we found ourselves planting raspberry canes last night in the section of the field we have reserved for perennial crops. We also planted rhubarb and left a spot for asparagus, which we are still sourcing.

Tomorrow first thing we head to Calgary to meet our nephew Caeden, who was born in September. Now that we are a driveable distance away, we hope to see our nieces and nephews more often!

Hollywood aka Mr. Samson Salad Mix will be spending the 5 days with his GrandPeople, aka my parents. Luckily he has already won my Dad's heart, sleeping on the couch with him!
