 We have two robins sitting on babies near our house.  Ruby has a nest in the cedar tree at human eye-level beside our front door, and Scarlet has a nest in the pine tree, convenient viewing from our living room window.  I was able to catch the laying of Ruby's final egg, and as Google told us the incubation period for Robin eggs is 12-14 days, we knew there might be babies when we returned.  There was!  Scarlet's babies were born a few days earlier and are more advanced, getting feathers already.
